It is reported that the BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition is an important international event officially recognized by the BRICS countries. It is hosted by the International Alliance of Skills Development for Belt & Road and BRICS, and co-hosted by the Center for International People-to-People Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, among others. Since 2017, the competition has been organizing events in accordance with General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements for international people-to-people exchanges and the joint cultivation of international talents. This event has been included in the official competition whitelist for regular undergraduate universities, providing a valuable opportunity for exchanges and mutual learning with application-oriented undergraduate institutions.

Winning the gold award (first prize) in the undergraduate group on our debut marks another breakthrough for the School of Biological Engineering in this competition. So far this year, the school has accumulated a total of 3 first prizes and 2 second prizes in various competitions. In the future, the school will continue to deepen the mechanism of "promoting teaching through competitions and promoting learning through competitions", integrate teaching content with industry standards, strengthen students' engineering practice ability and professional quality, and contribute to cultivating high-end technical and skilled talents with an international perspective.
