Delegation from Korea National University of Media Arts Visits Beijing Polytechnic University

To deepen inter-university friendly cooperation and advance the implementation of annual overseas visit achievements, on the morning of November 13, a four-member delegation led by Lee Yun-hyuk, Vice President of Korea National University of Media Arts, visited Beijing Polytechnic University. Chen Jiangfeng, Vice President of Beijing Polytechnic University, warmly received the delegation on behalf of the university.

Chen Jiangfeng introduced the overall situation of the university and the achievements in international cooperation and exchange to the visitors. He stated that the university attaches great importance to international education. As a distinctive media university certified by the Ministry of Education of South Korea, Korea National University of Media Arts is highly aligned with Beijing Polytechnic University's international positioning in the integration of industry and education practice in the Economic and Technological Development Zone. 

  Lee Yun-hyuk thanked Beijing Polytechnic University for the warm reception, introduced the basic situation of Korea National University of Media Arts, and put forward ideas on the cooperative education model between the two universities. In addition, he suggested deepening exchanges between students of the two countries through joint short film shooting, and proposed sending South Korean students to Beijing Polytechnic University for short-term exchanges next year, on the basis of which more substantive cooperation will be expanded.

At the meeting, the two parties held detailed discussions on student exchange and joint training. Regarding student exchange programs, the scale and direction of annual student exchanges were initially planned. For the credit recognition link, the two parties unanimously agreed to launch curriculum alignment work, and will jointly set up an expert group to evaluate and confirm the curriculum syllabuses and teaching content of relevant majors, so as to remove obstacles for international student exchanges.

Before the forum, the visiting guests visited the teaching achievement exhibition of the School of Art and Design. Relevant personnel from the Division of International Cooperation &Exchange (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) and the School of Art and Design also participated in this activity.
