From March 23 to 27, the study tour and training program for Nanyang Polytechnic University, Singapore, organized by the School of Economics and Management, was successfully held. Thirty-eight teachers and students from Nanyang Polytechnic University gathered on campus, embarking on a tour featuring industrial practice, innovative vitality and cultural charm through corporate visits, thematic seminars, cultural experiences and other activities.
At the opening ceremony, Chen Jiangfeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university. The leading teacher from Nanyang Polytechnic University thanked the university for the elaborate arrangement and expressed the hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides in talent cultivation and program development.


During the training program, focusing on the themes of study tour and industrial practice, teachers and students from Nanyang Polytechnic University visited the Yonyou Digital Enterprise Experience Hall, Yizhuang International Robot Industrial Park, JD Logistics Asia No.1 Warehouse, COFCO Coca-Cola (Beijing) Museum and other sites. They observed typical application scenarios such as embodied intelligent robots, intelligent sorting systems and automated production lines at close range, experiencing China’s development achievements in intelligent manufacturing, smart logistics, digital economy and other fields in an immersive way. At the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area History Museum, around the theme of "The Road of Yizhuang, Striving Forever", the delegation systematically learned about the history of regional development and construction as well as the evolution of the modern industrial system, witnessing the vivid practice of reform, innovation and progressive development in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.



Focusing on topics such as economic globalization and technological development, the School of Economics and Management organized a special lecture on "China’s Economy and the World", as well as lectures and seminars on "The Impact of AI on Life, Study and Industries". Students actively participated in discussions based on their academic backgrounds and learning experiences.


The delegation also visited the Capital Museum, and strolled through Shichahai and Nanluoguxiang, experiencing the unique urban atmosphere of Beijing where tradition and modernity blend. The School of Economics and Management carefully arranged cultural activities including intangible cultural heritage hairpin flower making and tea art experience, enabling students to appreciate the unique charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture through immersive participation.




With pleasant spring scenery, the friendship between the two sides grew deeper day by day. The week-long study tour and training program for Nanyang Polytechnic University came to a successful conclusion. At the closing ceremony, Liu Rong, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, presented completion certificates to student representatives and delivered a closing speech. She congratulated the successful completion of the program and expressed the hope that students would take this study tour as an opportunity to further deepen their understanding of China’s development achievements and cultural charm, and continuously enhance exchanges and friendship between Chinese and Singaporean youth.
