On the afternoon of September 10, the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) grandly opened at Shougang Park. President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the fair, stating that China is willing to work with all parties to promote open and innovative cooperation in global trade in services, build an open world economy, and continuously inject new impetus into the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.

With the theme of "Digital Intelligence Leads, Trade in Services Reinvigorates", this year’s CIFTIS has nearly 2,000 offline participating enterprises, including 500 Fortune Global 500 companies and international industry leaders, covering 26 countries and regions among the top 30 in trade in services. The functions of global resource aggregation and internal-external connectivity will be fully highlighted. As one of the nine key thematic sections, the Education Services Section is led by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and co-hosted by the Beijing International Education Exchange Center and the Beijing Science and Technology Education Promotion Association. Our university, as the only university representative in the "AI Education +" sub-section under the Education Theme, made its appearance in Hall 10 of Shougang Park.

Centering on the theme of "AI Education +", the university comprehensively showcased its outstanding achievements in the field of "artificial intelligence empowering vocational education development" in recent years, as well as students’ award-winning works from science and technology competitions. These exhibits included the "0306 Little Giant" from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the dual-arm embodied intelligent robot platform from the School of Integrated Circuits (School of Artificial Intelligence), AI-assisted art design cultural and creative works from the School of Art and Design, the AI-assisted health testing "Xin" (Core) Kit from the School of Bioengineering, and the AI intelligent service and Q&A assistant from the Information Center. These exhibits attracted many visitors to stop by for communication and experience.

During the CIFTIS, Australia, the Guest Country of Honor this year, organized a delegation to visit and exchange with the university. The delegation highly recognized the university’s development, and many Australian schools expressed their willingness to cooperate. The university promoted the signing of a framework agreement with institutions such as Federation University Australia, which will cover cooperation in faculty training and academic exchanges, the establishment of joint training courses, and the development of interdisciplinary characteristic projects.

As a participant in the Education Thematic Exhibition of this year’s CIFTIS, the university not only demonstrated its "educational innovation capabilities" to the world but also provided a "perceivable and replicable" Chinese solution for global trade in education services. In the future, the university will continue to improve its "AI Education +" system and promote the "Beijing Service" brand to go global.
