I. Introduction of Beijing Polytechnic University

Founded in 1958, Beijing Polytechnic University is one of the first independent higher vocational colleges in China and one of the top 100 national model higher vocational education institutes. The university began enrolling international students in 2018, and by 2025, it had an enrollment of approximately 9486 Chinese and international students and 566 full-time faculty members. The university has seven secondary schools, including School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Integrated Circuits (Artificial Intelligence), School of Bioengineering, School of Economics and Management, and School of Art and Design, offering 35 diploma programs and six vocational undergraduate programs.

Located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, the university covers 813.75 mu (about 542,771 square meters) and boasts excellent educational facilities and comprehensive infrastructure. It has 25 on-campus platforms for industry-education integration, 283 on-campus training sites, and 235 off-campus internship bases.

II. Enrollment Majors

III. Tuition Fee

Diploma Programs: 14000-16000 RMB per person per year

Bachelor Degree Programs: 18000-20000 RMB per person per year

Accommodation Fee: 960 RMB per person per month.

Other expenses for studying in China, including visas, airfare, insurance, meals, etc., will be borne by the student themselves.

IV. Admission Qualifications

1. Minimum educational requirements:

High school graduates or equivalent.

2. Language proficiency

For majors with Chinese as their professional teaching language, the Chinese language proficiency requirement should be at least HSK Level 4. For majors with English as their professional teaching language, the IELTS score should be no less than 4.5 or equivalent English proficiency.

3. Age requirements

At least 18 years old, generally no more than 30 years old.

4. All international students applying to BPU must be Non-Chinese citizens and have no registered student status in other Chinese universities.

V. Scholarship

To help students better complete their studies, the university offers scholarships to international students pursuing bachelor's degrees. Applicants must provide their highest academic transcripts, and the university will determine the recipients based on their academic ranking.

VI. Application Process and Required Documents

1. Application process:

Please visit the website of BPU, download and fill in the BPU International Student Application Form, and then send it to the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of BPU（oice@bpu.edu.cn）together with other required documents.

2 Application documents

(1) Application Form for International Students; personal information page of passport (personal ordinary passport);

(2) Highest academic qualifications certificate or pre-graduation certificate that must be stamped with the official seal of the school;

Note: For students applying with a pre-graduation certificate, the expected graduation date must be stated and the graduation certificate must be obtained before the entry date.

(3) Transcript of all courses at the highest educational level that must be stamped with the official seal of the school);

(4) Certificate of No Criminal Conviction which should normally be within 6 months prior to the date of submission of the application;

(5) Physical Examination Form for International Students where the items listed must be examined strictly The "Physical Examination Form for International Students" with missing items, no photo or stamp on the photo, or without the signature and stamp of the physician and hospital is invalid. The examination result is valid for 6 months and must be within the validity period at the time of application.
