On the afternoon of September 16, an 11-member Malaysian Educators' Delegation to China visited our university for exchange, accompanied by the Vocational Education Branch of Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP). Wang Wei, President of the university, received the visitors.

Beijing Polytechnic University is committed to global cooperation in vocational education and will work with Malaysian universities to jointly write a new chapter in vocational education supporting sustainable development with an open mindset and practical actions.

Zhou Wanwan, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education Branch of FLTRP, pointed out in her speech that as a key stop of the delegation's visit in China, Beijing Polytechnic University had left a deep impression with its profound educational heritage and distinctive vocational education characteristics. She emphasized that the university had not only accumulated rich practical experience in cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents who meet industrial needs, but also developed an effective talent cultivation model.

Hazira, Deputy Director of the Capacity Enhancement and Career Development Division under the Department of Vocational Education and Community Colleges of Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education, expressed sincere gratitude to Beijing Polytechnic University for its warm and thoughtful reception.

The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on teacher-student exchange and training, and reached cooperation intentions on projects including the "2+1" international student cultivation program, in-service teacher training for Malaysian educators in China, and academic advancement of Chinese students in Malaysia.

After the symposium, the Malaysian Educators' Delegation visited the practical training sites of the School of Integrated Circuits, the School of Biological Engineering and the School of Economics and Management.



Relevant personnel from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of International Education, the School of Integrated Circuits, the School of Biological Engineering and the School of Economics and Management also participated in this event.
