On the morning of April 24, a delegation from Sri Lankan vocational institutions, consisting of Mr. Kalpa Sanjeewa (Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute) and Ms. Ranawella (Principal of Wayamba Technical Institute), paid a visit to Beijing Polytechnic University. Vice President Chen Jiangfeng received the delegation.
Chen Jiangfeng introduced the university’s overall development to the guests. The guests expressed appreciation for the achievements Beijing Polytechnic University has made in vocational education and expressed the hope to carry out long-term cooperation with the university in student exchanges, faculty training and program development. Both sides reached a consensus on promoting cooperation in the field of vocational education between China and Sri Lanka.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation from Sri Lankan vocational institutions visited the training bases of the School of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering and School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in sequence.



Relevant personnel from the School of International Education, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and School of Automotive Engineering participated in the discussion.
