Delegation from Uzbekistan's Revival Education University Visits Beijing Polytechnic University

On the afternoon of May 16, Mr. Vahob, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uzbekistan's Revival Education University, led a delegation to visit Beijing Polytechnic University for exchange. President Wang Wei received the delegation, and Vice President Chen Jiangfeng presided over the symposium.

During the symposium, Wang Wei introduced the structure of China's higher education system as well as the positioning and characteristics of Beijing Polytechnic University as a skill-oriented university. He noted in his speech that Beijing Polytechnic University has a nearly 70-year history of running schools and ranked 6th nationwide in the newly released 2025 Soft Science China Vocational Undergraduate University Ranking. Adhering to the vocational education feature of "integration of industry and education", the university is rooted in Yizhuang, keeps pace with the forefront of industrial development, and offers majors such as intelligent connected vehicles and artificial intelligence to serve regional economic development. In terms of international education, Wang Wei mentioned that the university actively responds to the "Belt and Road" Initiative and has established sound cooperative relations with universities in countries including Tunisia, Morocco, Malaysia and Singapore. Meanwhile, the university adheres to the model of "going global with enterprises" to train local employees for enterprises, supporting the overseas development of Chinese-funded enterprises such as CITIC Dicastal.

Chairman Vahob highly praised the school-running standards of Beijing Polytechnic University and meanwhile introduced the overview of Uzbekistan's Revival Education University. He stated that Revival Education University is a higher education institution in Uzbekistan dedicated to providing high-quality education and training. Currently, the university has three campuses, offering 34 professional programs and enrolling over 12,000 students. During their studies, students will take courses in mathematics, history, philosophy, literature, pedagogy and psychology, and master the necessary knowledge and skills in international relations, finance, information systems and other fields. Under the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the university has built good cooperative relations with Chinese universities such as Xinjiang University. This time, he accompanied the Minister of Education to China to attend the first China-Central Asia Ministers of Education Meeting, where he met many Chinese friends; his visit to Beijing also allowed him to personally experience the high-level vocational education here. Looking ahead, he expressed the hope that the two universities could carry out in-depth cooperation in majors such as mechatronics and new energy vehicles, so as to train skilled talents for Uzbekistan and make greater contributions to the educational and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.

After the symposium, the two parties signed a cooperation memorandum.

Subsequently, the delegation from Revival Education University visited the training bases of the School of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Automotive Engineering, School of Biological Engineering and School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in sequence.
