This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. At the invitation of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), 20 teachers and students from our school went to UMP from July 21st to 27th to carry out international exchange activities, building a bridge of friendship among Chinese and Malaysian youth through skill exchanges and enjoying a cultural feast together.

During the research and study period, UMP focused on students' language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and arranged a rich variety of English culture courses for the students from Beijing Polytechnic University. Teachers with rich teaching experience from countries such as India and Malaysia took the geographical wonders, historical cultures, and economic developments of the countries they had traveled to as the starting points of the courses, showing the beauty of the world and the beauty of language, enhancing students' learning interests, and improving their English learning and application abilities. Through this exchange and mutual learning, the students learned about Malaysian traditional clothing culture, the making of artistic handicrafts, Malaysian traditional dances, and the making of dance costumes.

Coincidentally, during the research and study period, UMP held its first Alumni Open Day event, and our school's teachers and students were invited to attend. At the launching ceremony of the Alumni Education Tourism Program, Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie bin Zainuddin, the vice - chancellor of UMP, presented honorary certificates to our school's teachers and students and exchanged school emblems. Fu Zihan from the School of Art and Design represented the exchange group of the Beijing Polytechnic University to give an English - language exchange report. All the students in the exchange group and the Chinese - Malaysian students from UMP sang Tomorrow Will Be Better together. In the cheerful atmosphere, the students deepened their friendship and understanding and felt a sense of resonance and touch.

Through this activity, the students from the Beijing Polytechnic University experienced the Malaysian humanities, history, and culture and had in - depth exchanges with the local youth. The high level and quality shown by the exchange group were also praised by the local teachers and students. This activity was reported by several Malaysian media, including Sinar Harlan.

"Appreciate one's own beauty and that of others. When the beauty of all is shared, the world will be in harmony." Only by allowing different civilizations to thrive in harmony and diversity can we better promote the development of our own national civilization and jointly write a glorious chapter in the development of human civilization. Taking this activity as an opportunity, our school will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with overseas universities, tell the story of the Electronic Science and Technology Institute well to the world, contribute to the cultivation of technical and skilled talents with an international perspective and cross - cultural communication abilities, and make new and greater contributions to promoting the friendly relations and development cooperation between China and Malaysia, and even between China and other countries in the world.
